Race Information
The 22nd Annual TRC
For the last 2 decades the Teton Ridge Classic (TRC) has been one of the premier classic events in the region. Last year we moved to a new venue that is perfect for classic skiing. The start and finish are on a private ranch where we can all gather post-race to swap stories, refuel, and hand out awards.
For 2025 we have a kids 2km, 8km, and 28km distances. Course maps
2km kids race starts on private land near Moose Creek Ranch and is a flat out and back course.
8km is a lollypop loop. It starts on private land near the Moose Creek Ranch, skis into Mike Harris via the underpass. It than climbs up the powerline road before turning onto the Yetti loop and then returns to the finish via the underpass.
28km is a lollypop loop and a very unique course. It starts on private land near the Moose Creek Ranch, skis into Mike Harris via the underpass. It than climbs up the powerline road before turning onto the Yeti loop. Skiers then race the campground loop and then head onto the Happy Hour trail. Happy Hour is what makes this race memorable as you ski on 2 km of classic single track. We have worked to make the trail as wide as possible, but note that some sections are just 3-4 feet across. Once through the single track, skiers race under the Trail Creek underpass onto the rolling centennial trail bike path. The second lap returns back into Mike Harris for one more go-around. The finishing lap returns back to the start.
